Bienvenida V. Romero

Bienvenida V. Romero, 80, of Espanola was taken by her Guardian Angel into the arms of our Lord on Monday, May 14, 2012. Bienvenida had her loving family at her side during her final moments. Her family and friends spent time with her throughout the day to say their final goodbyes. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Augustin Romero and Cristobalina Sandi. She is survived by her son, Ricardo Delvo, daughter Oliva Delvo Lopez (Manuel) and adopted daughters Lucille LaRue and Lorraine Trujillo, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, sister Rosa Brenes of Brooklyn, NY and brother Omar Romero of Costa Rica. Cremation has taken place. Rosary will be prayed on Monday, May 21, 2012 at 10 AM. Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM. Both will be held at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz. Private burial will take place at a later date.
