Brent Schutz

Surrounded by his family and friends, our beloved “Brentie” passed away peacefully to join his son in heaven on August 28, 2017. Brent is preceded in death by his son Jarod Schutz; his maternal grandparents Ciprianita and Tony Casados; paternal grandparents Leo and Josephine Schutz. He is survived by his parents Joe Schutz and Rosina Schutz; daughter Jennifer and husband Steve Flores; daughter Emily Schutz; grandchildren Mia, Jarod, Maddox and Jacoby Flores and Jaxon Cdevaca; brother Doug Schutz (Giomar); sisters Jolene (Mannie), Debbie (Charlie), Liz (John), Tracy (Fernando), Shelley (Derek); the mother of his children, Beverly. Brent was a 1975 graduate of St. Michaels High School, where he was an amazing baseball player. Brent loved to hunt, fish and be in the outdoors especially with his children. He was a true character to all those who knew him, and for this he will be greatly missed. A rosary will be held at 9:00 am on Friday, September 1, 2017, followed by a mass at 10:00 am at Cristo Rey Church, Santa Fe. Reception to follow.
