Bridget M. Martinez

Bridget M. Martinez, 88, of Ranchos de Taos passed away peacefully at home with her family on November 11, 2016. She is preceded in death by her children, Florence Maestas, Steve (Wedo), David, Ernest and Edwardo Martinez, parents, Florencio and Clorinda Cortez, siblings, Dolores Garcia, Josephine Jones, Jose Lavre Cortez, Jose Maria Cortez and Emilio Cortez. She is survived by her children, Sarah Vasquez, Jane Lucero (Dennis), Patsy Jeantete, Nestor Martinez (Cecilia), Lillian Martinez, Diane Martinez, Frank Martinez, Gabriel “Gabe” Martinez (Maria), Gilbert Valerio (Florence), Lorraine Holliberg (Bill), sister, Sofia Gutierrez, 58 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 7 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 11 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with interment to follow at the Martinez Cemetery in Ranchos de Taos.
