Bro. Joseph DeBenedictis, age 74 passed away on June 7, 2017 in Albuquerque, NM. Bro. Joseph was born in Newark, NJ on July 5,1942 to Joseph Michael DeBenedictis and Estella Louisa Gerardo. For many years, Bro. Joseph taught school in Chicago, St. Louis, MO and in Plainsfield, NJ. He belonged to the religious order of the Brothers for Christian Community (BFCC). Bro. Joseph is survived by his beloved sister, Siri Neel Khalsa of Espanola, NM and his niece, Lakshmi Khalsa of Espanola, NM and newphew, Gurushabad Mirando of Santa Fe, NM. A private commendation service will be held this Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the Rivera Family Funeral Home of Espanola. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Holy Cross Mosuleum, East Brunswick, NJ.
