Bruce Thomas Romero was born on August 1, 1964 to proud parents Avaristo and Dora Romero. He lived in Chimayo all his life except for a short while when he lived and worked in Reno, Nevada. He was a private contractor and plaster leaving behind his beautiful work in so many homes. Bruce s priority in life was his wife, children, and parents. Just as important were his brother, sisters, nieces and nephews. Familia was so important to him. Wherever Bruce was invited to, he would be there to accompany family and friends. He served as a good example to his sons and his nephews teaching them how to work and emphasizing the importance of learning how to work and being a good worker. Bruce enjoyed the New Mexico outdoors. When he wasnt working he made time for fishing, hunting, and camping with family and friends. He was a very positive person; there was not room for negativity and he always made the best out of a given situation and looked on the bright side of things. Bruce will be remembered most for always making time in his busy day to help anyone in need but never expecting anything in return. His beautiful smile and the cute giggle of his will be forever be imprinted in our memories of him. Bruce was preceded in death by three nephews Raul, Joaquin, and Willie Salazar.
