Carla Gonzales

Carla Gonzales age 58, of Santa Fe passed away at the Heart Hospital on January 21, 2009, following an arduous battle with R.A. and Lupus. Carla loved spending her days involved in many creative endeavors- bead work, painting, crocheting, drawing and quilting which she continued doing as her health would permit.Her parents Nick Gonzales and Margaret Gonzales precede Carla in her death.Carla is survived by her children Nora Montoya and husband John, Norma Ortega, also twelve siblings: Veronica Gonzales and husband Albert, Josie Baca and husband David, Ramona Olivas, Patricia Marrow and husband Steve, Rick Gonzales and wife Hela, Nick Gonzales and wife Helen, Marsha Gonzales, Rudy Gonzales wife Maggie, Nellie Gonzales, Danny Gonzales and partner Lawrence Archuleta, Anna Gonzales and partner Erika Naranjo Loretta Gonzales and partner Jackie Torres also Grand Children Merlinda Montoya, Jonathan Montoya, Bailey Montoya and Izzy F. Marro, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Arrangements for cremation have been made, there will be no public visitation/viewing. Recitation of the Rosary will take place on Monday afternoon at 2:00 pm in the mortuary chapel in Espanola, and the Mass of Christian Burial will be clebrated on Tuesday at 12 noon at San Jose Catholic Church in La Cienega (Santa Fe area), with the committal service taking place at the church cemetery, with a reception to follow.
