Carl Don Nicholas Bradley, Sr., 65, a longtime resident of Tres Piedras, NM passed away on February 20, 2014 at his ranch in Olmitz, Kansas. He was a self employed welder, mechanic, worked in the construction business, and owned and operated 6 X 6 Rodeo Company, Tres Piedras, NM. He was especially known for raising bucking bulls. Carl was a member of the New Mexico Rodeo Association, Colorado Rodeo Association, and the Intercollegiate Rodeo Association. His passions included hunting, fishing, and playing his bass guitar for the band, Country Pride. He is preceded in death by his father, John Carver Bradley, his daughter, Tammy Bradley and his sister, Emma Dean Bradley. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Drake Bradley, his mother and step father, Winifred and William Roll of El Dorado Springs, MO, his son, Donnie Bradley, Jr. and his wife, Tess of Holyrood, KS, his daughters, Pamela Bradley of Mesa, AZ and Cathy Canty and her husband, Blake of Sanford, CO, his sisters, Geraldine Smith and husband, Sam of Romeo, CO, Charlene Wheat of Portola, CA, Julia Theeck and husband, Clay of Brenham, TX and Eunice Thichenor and husband, Mike, Joplin, MO, his foster son, Thomas Romeo and wife, Elizabeth, Texhoma, TX, his brothers, Johnny Bradley and wife, Diane of Zapata, TX and Vaughn Bradley and wife, Becky of Antonito, CO, his half brothers, Mark Panzer of Santa Fe, NM and Carver Panzer of AZ, his grandchildren: Franklin Gonzales and his wife, Cassie, Meagon Robacker and her husband, Will, Elizabeth Vigil and her husband, Daniel, Samantha Howes, Cody Bradley and his wife, Sharee, Cory and Justin Bradley, Whitney, Kelli, Chance and Ember Canty, great-grandchildren: Shay Leigh Vigil, Stetson and Statler Howes, Matthew and Hagen Bradley, Rebecca, Tori and Clay Robacker.
Visitation was held on February 27, 2014 at Rivera Chapel in Taos, NM with the family present. Funeral Service was held on February 28, 2014 at Rivera Chapel with interment following at the Carson Cemetery in Carson, NM.
