Carl Eric Padilla

Carl Eric Padilla, 55 of Santa Fe, NM suddenly passed away on April 12, 2018. He was born in Las Vegas, NM on October 11, 1962 to Isabel and Lorenzo Padilla. Carl is preceded in death by his father: Lorenzo Padilla, uncle: William Padilla, grandmother: Olympia Padilla, uncle: Carl Vigil, grandparents: Annie and Thomas Vigil. He is survived by his daughters: Maya (Joshua) Padilla and Sophia (John Tomas) Padilla, son: Isaiah Padilla, mother of children: Tanya Romero, brothers: Lawrence Jr. Padilla (Kathy), Kenneth Long (Sandy), Mario Padilla (Faye) and Edward Padilla, nephews: Mikey Padilla, Matthew Long, Mark Long and David Crawford. Carl was an active employee amongst City Government. Care giver to his father and mother. He was a proud father of his three children, two daughters, Maya & Sophia and only son Isaiah Padilla. Carl’s pride and love for his children shined bright and truly were the heart of his being. A dedicated and respected Umpire for many years with Santa Fe AABC Baseball, a tradition in which he often shared with his father and brothers. Carl’s generous heart and willingness to always be there for others will be remembered and missed by many. Thank you to the many family and friends who continue to share of memories of Carl. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 7:00pm at St. Anne’s Catholic Church Funeral Mass will be on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Anne’s with a reception to follow.
