Carmen Rodriguez ~ Gomez

Carmen Medina Rodriguez Gomez, born September 6, 1937 was born to Miguel Rodriguez de la Peña and Carmen Medina Vasquez de la Medina in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico.

Carmen Medina Rodriguez and Jose Antonio Gomez Married on April 30, 1982. Carmen was a Bilingual Teacher in Puebla, Mexico and continued teaching bilingual with the Santa Fe Public Schools when she moved to Santa Fe, NM.

Carmen enjoyed traveling in Mexico and continued traveling locally and abroad during her marriage with Antonio “Tony”. She enjoyed fishing and taking walks.

Carmen is survived by her husband Antonio “Tony” Gomez, her Step Children, Grandchildren, relatives and friends. Carmen was well loved and will be dearly missed.

A rosary will be recited at 10am Tuesday June 7, 2022 at Santa Maria de la Paz Catholic Church in Santa Fe, New Mexico followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am. Interment will be at 2:15 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Flowers may be brought to the church on Monday June 6, 2022 or as early as 9am on Tuesday June 7, 2022.
