Carmen Bailon

Carmen V. Bailon, born July 18, 1946 passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of December 2, 2017 in Taos, NM. She was born Carmen V. Sanchez to the late Helen Sanchez. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bailon, sister, Berlinda Sanchez and brother, Juan B. Pacheco. She is survived by her three children, son, Geno Trujillo (Celeste), daughters, Rayne Medina (Wayne) and Lucia Trujillo, grandchildren, Amadeo, Angel, Abran and Autumn Trujillo, Jayne, Elayne, and Pablo Medina, Victoria and Miguel Jr Padilla, great granddaughters, Abrianna Medina and Martina Pacheco, sisters, Judy Stenum (Brian) and Olivia Pearman (Colin), and brothers, John (Eva), Cipriano Jr. (Rosie), and Phil (Elsie) Sanchez, Miguel Padilla Sr. (who was like a son to her), and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who were all very special to her. The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and support during this difficult time. May she rest in eternal peace. Rosary was recited on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 8 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Funeral mass was held on Saturday December 9, 2017 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Taos followed by a lunch for family and friends. Interment by the family will follow at the Arroyo Seco Cemetery.
