Carol Claire Sicko 89, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is pre-deceased by her parents Herbert, Helen, and Frances, her brother Herb, and her husband Alexander. Originally from New Jersey, she was a longtime resident of Fort Myers, Florida before moving to Santa Fe to live with her son David and daughter-in-law Anna. She is also survived by her daughter Claudia Ossowicz, son-in-law Karl, her grandson Ken and his wife Stacy, all living in Cape Coral, Florida, and by her great grandchildren Andrew and Linda. She is also remembered fondly by her nieces and nephews and their families, and by her many friends. She loved us all.
Carol was a strong woman of quiet resolve, always ready with good advice and her dry sense of humor. In her life Carol had many careers, including dancer, bookkeeper, secretary, housewife, and great mother. She was the vice-president of her husband’s company, and a skilled driver who crossed the United States by automobile—twice. The great companion of her life was her husband Alexander, for thirty-three years until his death of natural causes. She was always on target, with her advice, her wit, or her phaser pistol. Throughout her life Carol tried to be of help to everyone, whether family, friends, or strangers. Most of all she was generous, especially with her warmth and her love. She touched all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
