Carolina Cecilia Roberta Martinez

Our beloved Carolina, 24, passed away suddenly on January, 30th 2019. Though she was taken from us so soon, Carolina lived a life full of love, friendship, and laughter. She was truly a strong and genuine soul. Our Carolina touched so many lives, and it was an honor to have walked through life with her. Carolina Martinez was born July 22nd, 1994 in Espanola, NM to Gene and Lorena Martinez. She was a resident of Albuquerque, NM. She was a registered nurse at Presbyterian Hospital. She is survived by her father and mother Gene and Lorena Martinez, Espanola, NM; sisters, Jimena Martinez(Mario), Kristina Ortiz(Eric), LuAnna Cordova(Arthur). Her beloved God Daughter Camila Mondragon. Nieces, Jessica, Amanda, Sydney, Jalyn, Nia. Nephews, Joseph and Nathan. And all of her aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ignacio & Ramona Martinez, maternal grandparents, Filoteo & Maria Perez Guerrero, and her Padrino Emilio Martinez. Please join us in celebrating her wonderful life at the following services. Visitation will begin at 5:30PM on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Rivera Family Funeral Home. Rosary and Mass will begin at 10:00AM on Wednesday February 6, 2019 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Reception following the mass at Knights of Columbus.
