Carol Jean Hutchinson – Age 73 – A resident of La Puebla passed away on Monday, April 5, 2007. Carol was born to Leslie and Gretta Spink in Big Patch, Wisconsin on June 20, 1933. She was a nurse at Presbyterian Hospital in Espanola from 1961- 1994. She was also a member of the United Methodist Church in Hernandez. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Hal Hutchinson and sister, Shirley Spink. She is survived by her sons: Henry Hutchinson and wife Toni of Gallup, Douglas Hutchinson and wife Barbara of San Juan, Dan Hutchinson and wife Laurie of Las Vegas and Hoyt Hutchinson and wife Grace of California; brothers and sisters: Joseph Spink of California, Florence Pruett of Arizona, Alice Bichel of Virginia, Ruth Kay, Myrtle Pewitt, Gordon Spink, Donald Rewey, Esther Schaaf and David Spink, all of Wisconsin; grandchildren: Kaitlin, Rebekah, Nathan and James Hutchinson, all of Las Vegas, Andrew, Doreen and Aaron Hutchinson, all of California, Jonathan Hutchinson of Gallup, Amanda Romero of Truchas and Camille Hutchinson of Albuquerque and great-grandchild, Ricky Romero. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary, with burial to follow at Loma Vista Cemetery in Alcalde.
