April 12, 1965 - June 29, 2017 SANTA FE Carter Roland Tague passed away quietly in his beloved home, Santa Fe. He was born in Oklahoma City - the son of Susan Boddy Tague Moore and Roland Tague. His mother, Susan, and brother, Cameron Tague, predeceased him. He is survived by his sister, Courtney (and her husband Lionel), of Australia; and his father and stepmother, Roland and Patty Tague. He is also survived by his longtime companion, Andrea "AJ" Gordon, of Santa Fe. Carter attended St. John's Parish Day School and graduated from Bishop McGuinness High School. He went on to OSU, where he was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. He was an Eagle Scout in Troop 193 and trekked through Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. He loved outdoor sports and activities - kayaking, hiking, biking, and skiing. From the time he was young, he always had a job - starting at Westminster Manor, throwing The Daily Oklahoman and The Oklahoma Times and then waiting tables for Jim Smelser at the Varsity Sports Grill. This experience led him to managing restaurants in Santa Fe. He served on the Board and was President of the Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta in Santa Fe. Carter and his longtime friend, Craig Stringer, started a food booth at the OKC Arts Festival selling fish tacos when those were unheard of in OKC. We will miss Carter - his exuberance, his love of life, and his commanding voice. A Memorial Service will be held at All Souls' Episcopal Church Thursday, July 6 at 2 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in Carter's memory should consider the Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta, 1000 Cordova Pl #723, Santa Fe, NM 87505; the Foundation for Alcoholism Research, P.O. A memorial service will be on July 18, 2017 at the Convention Center in Santa Fe, NM from 3:00-6:00pm
