Casimiro (Casey) Encinias Jr., 70, of Las Vegas, NM, passed awaypeacefully, Monday, August 9, 2021. Casey was born on June 3, 1951, inLas Vegas, NM, the son of Casimiro Encinias Sr. and Annie C Encinias. Hewas raised in Anton Chico by his grandparents, Jose and Adelia Enciniasand attended school in Santa Rosa, NM.He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jose and Adelia Encinias,parents Casimiro Sr and Annie C Encinias, brothers Frank and JessieEncinias and nephew Jude Encinias.Casey is survived by his daughters, Elena Martinez (George) andAmanda Lovato (Dennis); his son Ben Casey Encinias.Grandchildren, Chris Carrilo (Andrea), Rudy Carrillo (Amanda), DenikaLovato (Vidal), Lexi and Hope Lovato.Great grandchildren, Christopher and CorinaRae Carrillo, Jayden,Isabella, Enzo and Azriella Carrillo, and Aaliyah and Amelia Crespin.Sisters, Joyce Encinias (Sergio) and Ana Encinias (Lo). Special neice,Francine Valdez.Aunts, Frances Maestas and Helen Gallegos and Uncle Joe Encinias, allof whom he grew up with.He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.Casey was a hardworking man and he loved carpentry. He was strong,loving, and gentle. He enjoyed cooking, being outside sitting on hischair listening to music, camping/fishing, and spending time with hisfamily. He loved his family and was deeply devoted to his children andgrandchildren. He was a great man that was loved, is missed, and willalways be cherished. He showed strength and love right up until his lastdays with us.
Funeral mass will be conducted at 10:15am, Saturday, August 14, 2021at the Immaculate Conception Church. Internment will follow at theMount Calvary Cemetery on Hot Springs Blvd in Las Vegas, NM.
