Catherine Ruth Carrillo Melendez

Catherine Carrillo Melendez, 31, of Santa Fe, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018, with her loving family by her side. Catherine was born August 10, 1986 in Santa Fe, the daughter of Andy and Melinda Carrillo. She and Bernie Melendez were married February 24, 2018 in El Paso, TX. Her sister, Roberta Vigil, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Bernie Melendez; her son, Devon Melendez; parents, Deacon Andy and Melinda Carrillo; sisters, Camille Carrillo (Jose), Mary Rodriguez (Reyes), and Sarah Valdivia (Roy); her brothers, Andy Carrillo Jr, (Traci) and Gabe Carrillo. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Thursday, April 5th at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Friday, April 6th at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Rodeo Road.
