Cecilia Ortega

Cecilia T. Ortega, age 74, has passed away at her home in Santa Fe, NM on July 21, 2017. She was born on April 28, 1943 in Carrizozo, NM to Mary Guebara and Candelario Trujillo. She married Edward T. Ortega on January 13, 1978. She is preceded in death by her Parents and Husband, and Brother Earnest Trujillo. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Martin (David) from The Colony, TX, Grandsons Brandon and Jason Martin, Sisters Bennie Martin from Chico, CA and Barbara Sanchez (David), Brothers Alfred (Ellen) from Alto, NM and Fernando Trujillo from Capitan, NM, Candy Trujillo (Jeanne) from Capitan, NM, numerous Nephews and Nieces, her beloved dog Bandit and fur grandchildren. She worked as a Secretary in the Psychology Department in Fort Staton New Mexico Hospital and Training School and also at the Department of Health and Immunization Program in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She had a total of 25 years of Service. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society or Clothes for Kids in Santa Fe. NM. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 10:00am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Capitan, NM. Mass will be at 10:30am with the Burial to follow. Pallbearers will be Brandon Marin, Jason Martin, Gus Allred, David Sanchez, Alex Trujillo and Joel Darby. Honorary Pallbearers will be Alfred Trujillo, Fernando Trujillo and Candy Trujillo.
