Charlene Amanda May Padilla

Charlene Amanda May Padilla, 43, from Taos, New Mexico passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 20, 2025. She was born to Joe Padilla and JoAnn Trujillo Padilla in Santa Fe New Mexico. She was one of two children.

Charlene moved to Taos at a young age and continued to live there throughout her life. She is described by her family as a tomboy, who loved to wear boys clothing when she was young. She enjoyed the outdoors, unicorns, animals, especially dogs and life in general. She was known for being quiet when she first met someone and later for being loud and full of life. Her favorite pastime was watching romance and scary movies. Her favorite being Halloween. She had a kind heart and love to spread around to those she cared for so deeply. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her and were a part of her life.

She is survived by her loving partner of 16 years, Joshua Vaughn, her Sister Lori Padilla, her sister-in-law Elizabeth Padilla, and her nieces and nephews Bernie, Isaac, Darlene, Keisha, and Junior.
