Charles James Jaramillo

Charles James Jaramillo, age 49, a resident of Velarde passed away unexpectedly on September 4, 2014. Charles was born in Torrance, California on August 25, 1965 and raised in West Los Angeles, CA. Preceding him in death are his paternal grandparents, Ramos and Senaida Jaramillo, maternal grandparents Amadeo Ruben and Rose Montoya. He is survived by his wife Vickie Jaramillo, his daughters, Alexa Jaramillo and fiancé Eduardo Rios; and Chloee Jaramillo from California, his parents, Ramos and Marlene Jaramillo from California. Brother, Sidney R. Jaramillo (Teresa) of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Veronica Garces (Judas); and nieces, Tiffany and Titiana Garces from California. Charlies passion was fishing and hunting in the high sierras. He also loved going for firewood to stay warm in the winter. Charles was a loving father, son, brother and grandson. A rosary was recited on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Velarde. A Memorial Mass took place on Friday, September 12, 2014, also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Velarde.
