It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Cheryl Lee Montoya (46) of Taos. Cheryl went suddenly to be with the Lord on June 6, 2023. While Cheryl left far too soon, the impact her love and faith-filled life had on her children, and those who had the privilege of knowing her closely will be felt for generations to come. She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Montoya and her father, Eddie Howell. She is survived by her children, daughter, Samantha Howell, daughter, Aleea Montoya, daughter, Kiara Montoya, and son Jeremy Montoya, her mother, Rebecca Montoya, her siblings, Eloy (Arielle) Trujillo and Mary (Paul) Espinoza, and her grandsons, Nathan and Moses Hise. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Rivera Funeral Home, (818 Paseo del Pueblo Sur, Taos) on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. followed by burial service at Taos Assembly of God Cemetery.
