Christina 'Tina' Chavez

Christina Tina Chavez, born on July 26, 1978, went home to join her sister Lisa Jenny Chavez and all the angels in Gods heavenly kingdom as promised by our Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Age 34, she passed peacefully with family surrounding her as her Savior took her by the hand and gently lead her home. She is preceded in death by her sister, Lisa Jenny Chavez, grandparents, Isabel and Alfred Romero and Carlos Chavez, great grandparents, Irene and Levi Salazar, Teodora and Ben Tafoya, aunt, Veronica Cordova, uncles Alfred Romero Jr. and Carlos Chavez, cousins, Levi Salazar, Jennifer Salazar, Steve Chavez, Raymond Chavez, Ray Ray Martinez, June and Libby Montoya. She is survived by parents, Yolanda Salazar Chavez and Rick Chavez, partner, Kristie Saltzman, sisters, Felisha Griego-Torrez (Francisco Torrez) and Amanda Valencia, brothers, Ricky and Manuel Chavez, grandparents, Betty Salazar Vasquez (Procopio), Abel Salazar, nieces, Faith Lisa Leon and Aubrey Romero, nephews, Bryan Chavez and Elijah Romero, aunts, Yvonne Salazar and Grace Graham, Catherine Salazar, Frances Martinez, Marbella Trujillo, uncles, Alex Salazar(Venetia), Francisco Salazar, Herbert Cordova, Ben, Emos, Andrew, Dillon, Elefio and Danny Chavez and many cousins and family friends. Her services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 10 AM at Good News Christian Fellowship Church located at 933 Ranchitos Rd, Taos.
