CHRISTOPHER ROBERT (BOBBY) MONTAÑO Christopher Robert (Bobby) Montaño, age 61, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016 at home surrounded by family. Bobby was a resident of Pecos, New Mexico and enjoyed spending his time fishing at Monastery Lake and with his children and grandchildren. Bobby started his construction career at the age of 18 working for his father-in-law, Nazario. He made a career as a Cement Finisher which is what he loved to do most. Bobby was preceded in death by his wife Terry Montaño, his parents Leo and Viola Montaño, brother Leo Jr. Montaño, granddaughter Antanette Baker, and nephew Daniel Montaño. Bobby is survived by his children: Rick & wife Jessica Baker, Ranee & husband Gene Orona, Russell Montaño & girlfriend Vanessa, Roberta Montaño & boyfriend Larry, Ray Montaño, Rosella & husband Steve Atilano, and daughter-in-law Marlene Peña. Grandchildren: Rick, Ashley, Robert, Sonya, James, Bryanna, Angelita, Teresita, Mariah, Natashah, Larissah, Mykaliah, Theresa, Deja, Estevan, Angelica, and Joseph. Great-grandchildren: Angelo, Josh, Christopher, Alicia, and James. Special thanks to his girlfriend Eleanor (Lulu) and son Cat. Services will be Friday, April 8, 2016 at 10a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Pecos.
