Cindy Vigil

Cindy Vigil, 55 passed away on October 10, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Cindy was preceded in death by her Son; Daniel Justin, Father; Samuel Vigil, Brothers; Tommy, Sammy and Anthony. Niece; Pamela Stacy, Nephews; Thomas Anthony Vigil and Steven Talachy. Cindy is survived by her Sons; Derek and Dylan Vigil, Daughter; Neva Martinez and husband Jacob, and her beloved Grandson; DeAndre Vigil. Mother; Virginia Vigil, Brother; Ted Vigil and wife Lori, Sisters; Lucy Vigil, Pat and husband James Griego, Louise Vigil, Pauline an husband Clifford Griego, Sandra Vigil and Brenda Vigil. Numerous Nephews, Nieces, Great Nephews and Great Nieces. Aunts; Cecelia De Vargas, Sylvia and husband Zac Pana , Joyce Martinez and numerous cousins and friends. Cindy will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A Rosary will be recited on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at 8:00 AM with the Funeral Mass to follow at 9:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Santa Cruz, New Mexico. Interment of cremains will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be sent to Cindy's 16 year old daughter, Geneva Martinez into Cindy's account at Century Bank in Espanola, NM or to the following Charities; The Cancer Center Society, St. Vincent De Paul Charities, Christian Concern, Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Los Alamos, SELFHELP, and El Corazon Hospice Comfort Care. All these organizations were very generous with monetary donations and were instrumental in keeping Cindy in her own home during the last stages of her illness. The family of Cindy Vigil has entrusted the care of their loved one to the Rivera Family Funeral Home and Crematory of Espanola, NM.
