Clara Maes

July 29, 1931 — August 7, 2023

Clara Maes loved life, especially loved to laugh! She attended mass every day, cooked for the homeless, and was a member of the Ordo Franciscanus Saecularis (Third Order of St. Francis).

No words can tell, no flowers can repay our loss. Till memories fail and life departs, you will live eternally in our heart.

Our precious Mom, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Tia and Forever our Best Friend.

In life we loved you oh so dearly, in death we love you still, Always and Forever.

Clara was proceeded by her Father Pedro Antonio Trujillo, Mother Rafelita Lucero Trujillo Armenta. Brothers Ubaldo Trujillo (Tonita), Rufino Armenta (Rose), Luis Armenta (Juanita) and Luciano Federico Trujillo. Sister Rachel Trujillo Nickerson (Elfigo), Fedelina Trujillo Valencia (Pete). Father of Children Joseph F. Maes Jr. Daughter Joyce Maes Hernandez.

She is survived by brother Gilbert Armenta (Virginia). Sister Jenny Trujillo Currin, Lucy Armenta Gonzales. Her Children Cora Trujillo (Roland), Joseph Maes (Anna), Christina Padilla (Pete), Anthony Maes (Raquel). Grand Children Isaiah Trujillo (Jennifer), Rebekah Portillo, Veronica Griego (PJ), Ethan Plaza, Daphne Plaza and Joseph Maes. Great Grandchildren Alannah Trujillo, Maiah Trujillo, Avah Trujillo, Kassandra Portillo, Valerie Portillo, Lorenzo Portillo, Joaquin Portillo, Josiah Griego and Nehmiah Griego.

We are forever grateful for the love and support of the Armenta, DeHerrera, Nickerson, Maes, Manzanarez, Mouer, Trujillo, Valencia and Vigil families.

All Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren will be pallbearers.
