Claude Edwards

Claude Edwards – Age 86 a resident of Los Alamos passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2005. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Morris and John; sisters: Hazel and Fanny Lee; 1st wife, Ruth. He was born on October 14, 1919 in Corsicana, Texas to Michela and Buela. He married Jean on August 8, 1992 in Crab Apple, Texas. He was in the United States Army and Navy in World War II. He was a machinist with Halliburtin and Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening. Claude will be remembered as a Southern Gentleman "A good old boy". He is survived by his wife, Jean K. Edwards of Los Alamos; sons: Mark and wife Karen of Los Lunas, New Mexico, Mike of Wichita, Kansas and Tom and wife Hila of Rokledge, Florida; daughter, Kathleen and husband Bob of Los Alamos; and numerous other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or the Diabetes Foundation. Interment services will be held in Fredericksburg, Texas on a later date.
