OBITUARY FOR CLAYTON WILLIAM HUFF Clayton William Huff, son of Marguerite R. Farber and the late Gregory G. Huff passed away on May 28, 2017. Clayton was born on December 20, 1986. Clayton is survived by his mother Marguerite, his sister Nicole Kathryn Vigil and her husband Ted Vigil, and his grandmother Gabrielle G. Miller. He is deeply missed by Steven Farber, Sylvia Farber, and Jamie Rosenthal, Daniel Farber, Zoey Farber Barnes, and Avi Farber. Clayton is also survived by his many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins: Samuel J. Rosensohn (Ann Louise, Zachary, Trevor); Daniel L. Rosensohn (Pam, Tricia, Lizzy, Trey, Georgia, Daisy); Elizabeth R. Harris (David, Emily, Orlando, Atticus, Zada, Melissa); Christina Huff (Steve, Eli, and Claire); Garry Huff (Kathy, Christina, Eric, and Matthew); Connie Huff (Pete); Rebecca Huff (Damian, Ashley, and Diego); and Rev. Joanie Huff, and Margaret and Teddy Vigil and the entire Vigil family. Clayton was preceded in death by his beloved maternal and paternal grandparents, William L. Rosensohn and Eugene Huff and Kathryn G. Huff. He is also missed by his many friends. Clayton was a gentleman and loved his family. He was kind, loving, respectful, and gracious. He went out of his way to make people feel comfortable and welcome. Clayton was exceptionally compassionate and took extraordinary care of his Grandmother Gabrielle after she moved to Santa Fe last year to stay at the Kingston Memory Care Unit. Clayton was born and raised in Santa Fe. He went to Temple Beth Shalom Pre-School and Religious School where he had his Bar Mitzvah and was Confirmed. He attended Gonzales Elementary School, Capshaw Junior High School and Santa Fe High School. Clayton loved to cook and attended Johnson and Wales School of Culinary Arts in Denver, Colorado. Clayton truly enjoyed cooking for his family and friends and his delicious meals will be missed. He worked in Santa Fe restaurants and was remarkably polite and well mannered with all his customers and people who he met. He worked as a chef, server, and bartender. He often volunteered for the Cooking with Kids program at Gonzales Elementary School. He loved the Kansas Jayhawks, college basketball teams, and the New York Yankees. He was an avid sports fan. He loved music and gardening. He was great at word games and was very mechanically inclined. He enjoyed reading, talking about politics, and watching his favorite shows. Memorial Services will be held at Temple Beth Shalom, 205 E. Barcelona Road, on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 1:30 P.M. Burial will take place at the Memorial Gardens Jewish Section on Rodeo Road immediately following the services. In lieu of flowers Clayton’s family requests that contributions be made to the Food Depot and Kitchen Angels.
