Cleo Priscilla Cordova, 83, passed away on March 13,2024. Born on a cold December day to Antonio and Dora Romero in Denver, CO. Cleo’s life was one of dedication and service to her community. In 1959, Cleo married the love of her life, Arnold Cordova, together they raised two children, Saranada and Kane, who were her pride and joy. Cleo’s family grew to include grandchildren and great grandchildren. During her life in Denver, Cleo worked for the housing authority for many years. She also embarked on a fun and exciting career as a hair dresser. One of her passions extended into education, where she became a teacher’s aide. Later in life, Arnold and Cleo moved to Taos, NM, eventually settling in El Prado. Cleo went to work for Taos County as an accountant. She continued to expand her horizons and became a sales representative for Mary Kay cosmetics for 20+ years. Cleo’s hobbies included gardening, quilting and embroidery. She loved dancing, Spanish and old rock & roll music. Predeceased by her parents, Antonio and Dora Romero and her brother, Anthony. Cleo’s memory will be honored and cherished by her surviving family, her husband, Arnold, her children, Saranada and Kane: her grandchildren and great grandchildren, many other family members and friends. Cleo’s legacy is one of unwavering love and commitment to her community and family. Her memory will be a blessing to her family and the many lives she touched.
The services to honor and celebrate Cleo’s life will be held on Sunday, April 07, 2024 at 6 PM at Rivera Funeral Home, 818 Paseo del Pueblo Sur in Taos, NM.
