Consuelo Connie E Salazar

Mrs. Consuelo Connie E. Salazar AGE 84 of Espanola passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 with her family at her side. She was preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Manuelita Espinoza. She will be remembered as an excellent educator, retiring after 30 years of service. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Albert J. Salazar, her children; Albert R. Salazar and his wife Kris, Leroy J. Salazar, Kenneth V. Salazar and his wife Jeanette, Charles J. Salazar and his wife Bernardine, Christella A. Salazar, Julie Salazar and her husband Armando, Barbara Rodriguez and her husband Ray, and Robert M. Salazar as well as many other relatives, Grandchildren and Greatgrandchilderen. The following grandchildren will serve as pallbearers: Brian A. Salazar, Pamela Lentini, Jacqueline Arellano, Carlos A. Salazar, Jose R. Salazar and Armando J. Salazar. The honorary pallbearers will be all of her other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Grandchildren: Carol, Maria, Amanda, Valerie , LeAnne, Victoria, Consuelo, Mary and Carmella Salazar, Lauren Rodriguez, Brian Salazar, Pamela Lentini, Jacqueline Arellano, Carlos A. Salazar, Jose R. Salazar and Armando J. Salazar. Great-grandchildren: Joaquin Salazar-Schoeppner, Anthony, Monique, and Jonathan Salazar, Lucas and Rianna Arellano, Jacob Salazar, Lauren Lentini and Cassandra Arellano. Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Española. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 3, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Interment will take place on Monday, June 6, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Please contact the mortuary for any additional information.
