Corina J. Romero

Corina Romero, beloved mother was called home to be with our Lord on June 10, 2017. She passed peacefully in her sleep. Born on May 6, 1936 in Wagon Mound N.M. to Rosendo and Flora Martinez. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Blas Romero Sr., daughter Eileen Martinez, grandsons Walter Montoya and Donicio Hernandez, brothers Roman and; Filemon Martinez, sisters Gloria Esquibel, Audelia and Frances Martinez. She is survived by her children. Phillip Romero (Angie) Bernalillo, Clara Romero (David) Santa Fe, Flora Martinez (Audie) Wyoming, Vincent Romero (Janet) Belen, Mary Drumm (Keith) Florida, Blas Romero Jr. Pena Blanca, Orlando Romero Wyoming, MaryLou Rosa (Richard) Pena Blanca. 24 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren , 5 great great grandchildren. Sisters Rosa Romero-Cerrillos, Aurelia Livingston-Las Vegas, Lucy Trujillo-Albuquerque, Susie Abeyta-Nevada, Juanita Martinez-Las Vegas Brother- Procopio Martinez and Arturo Lucero-Albuquerque, numerous nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers- Anthony Larranaga, Anthony Sandoval, David Hernandez, James Romero, Christopher Millis. Vincent Romero, David Lucero, Mike Hennely, Manuel Baca. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 6:00pm at the Kiva Chapel of Light (Rivera Family Funeral Home 417 East Rodeo Road, Santa Fe NM 87505) Mass will be held at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Pena, Blanca, NM at 10:00am on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 with the burial to follow.
