Corinne Rich

Corinne Odette Rich passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 67. Corinne was a vibrant spirit with such a sweet soul, a smart, quick-witted independent woman who was just beginning to realize her full artistic potential. Born in Casablanca, Morrocco to French parents, André and Odile Ratel. She is survived by her brother Gilles Ratel, his wife Pascale, and their three children, all residing in France. Corinne and her then-husband, Watson "Willie" Rich settled in Taos in 1977. Before making Taos her home and with five languages on her tongue, Corinne's genuine spark ignited connections wherever she touched down. Corrinne traveled the world, living in France, Brazil, India, and La Ventana, Baja California Sur, Mexico where for decades, escaping the chilly Taos winters, she enjoyed windsurfing and inspirational moments by the Sea of Cortez. Corinne painted her life with the colors of adventure, leaving behind a legacy of friendships.
