Craig Leroy Vigil

Craig Leroy Vigil, passed away on April 16, 2021. He was born on March 28, 1971 in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Rosalia Tomasita and Ralph Leroy Vigil.

Craig lived in San Jose and Santa Fe, New Mexico but spent most his adult life in Denver, Colorado where he had his own Roofing Company.  His hobbies were snowboarding, skiing and especially bike riding. Craig once rode his bike from Denver to Aspen and down to Santa Fe. He had many friends and family who loved him and he loved back. Most importantly he was a believer in Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior. Craig had a great sense of humor and a mischievous smile. He built special emotional bonds and many roofs and structures with his uncles Charlie, Gene and cousins Tom Strong foundations formed over many years. Craig also attended schools at Valley Elementary, Nava Elementary, De Vargas Junior High and graduated from SFHS in 1989 and attended Mesa Junior College and SFCC.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Leopoldo & Antonia Ortiz, Carmen Vigil and Ida Vigil, uncles; James Vigil, Domingo Ortiz, Timmy Ortiz, Charlie Ortiz and Johnny Ortiz.

He is survived by his loving parents; Ralph Leroy Vigil & Rosalia Vigil, sister; Jamie Vigil and brother; Ryan Vigil and one very special nephew Luca Jon Vigil.

Service will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at the Rivera Kiva Chapel of Light located at 417 E Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, NM 87505 with Pastor Bern Chavez officiating the service.
