Criselda Dominguez

Criselda Dominguez 77, a lifelong resident of Abiquiu passed away on Friday January 29, 2010 with her family surrounding her. Mrs. Dominguez was preceded in death by her husband Ramon B. Dominguez, Sr. mother and father Elionor and Rafael Trujillo, daughter in law Maria Dominguez and brother Lionel Trujillo. Criselda, better known as La Dear served her God and her family and community selflessly. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, neighbor and friend-and will be dearly missed. Criselda is survived by her children; Edith (Armando) Trujillo, Ramon B. Dominguez, Jr., Ralph Dominguez, Russell (Cemele) Dominguez, Robin (Miguel) Nevarez, Richard Dominguez, Ruth (Marcos) Martinez, Renee (John) Cutter-Espinoza, Randy Dominguez, Rodney (Nancy) Dominguez, Ryan (Jeanette) Dominguez, and Rachelle Dominguez, sister Lydia Jordan, sister in law Angelina Atencio, 20 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces, friends and relatives. A public visitation will be held on Saturday January 30th at 5:00 p.m. with the rosary to begin at 5:30 at Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola. A second rosary will be recited on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Abiquiu. The mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday February 1st at 10:30 a.m. also at church in Abiquiu. Interment will follow at the Abiquiu cemetery.
