Cynthia J. Aguino (Sin) - Resident of Ohkay Owingeh, NM passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at the age of 41. She was loving and caring with a heart full of gold.
Cynthia was a proud mother of three children Erin, Caleb and Jacob. She had a passion for cooking delicious meals and ensuring her family was well cared for. Cynthia loved her sports. She was a lifelong Los Angeles Dodger and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Cynthia would never miss her boys’ games, she was their sons #1 fan.
Cynthia was admired by both friends and family for her kindness. She was well known for her big and wonderful personality. Cynthia projected love and respect with everyone she crossed paths with.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Johnnie and Patrolina Aguino, maternal grandmothers Madeline Cata, Christine (Aunt Tine) Cata; uncles Robert, Howard, Frank and Benny Aguino, and aunt Pauline Wright.
Cynthia is survived by her parents John and Rita Aguino; children Erin, Caleb and Jacob Martinez; father of her children Manuel Martinez; sisters Eunice Moya, Shellie Garcia (Corey); brother Shawnti Aquino (Iris); nephews John Moya (Jaed) and Shawnti Aquino Jr; nieces Taylor and Jordan Moya, Alexis and Shanaya Aquino, and Kayliani Garcia; special great niece Mya-Love Moya; and numerous aunts and uncles.
PLEASE BE ADVISED: Masks are required to attend services.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Jacy Leno, John Moya, Kyle Krantz, Lawrence Romero, Robert Tafoya, Michael Cata Jr., Martin Cata, Howie Aguino, Chuck Dean, and Kevin Aguino.
Visitation will be held at Rivera Family Funeral Home of Espanola on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 5PM, holy rosary will be recited at 6PM.
Mass will be held at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church for Cynthia on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 9AM. Burial will follow mass at the Ohkay Owingeh Cemetery.
