Our beloved son, Damian Daniel Chacon, left this life on July 11, 2022, in Phoenix, Arizona.
Damian was born on September 27, 1977 and raised in Espanola, NM. His love of sports and the outdoors provided many happy adventures. A proud Little League player, he represented Espanola on many All-Star teams and pitched two one-hitter games in high school.
As an avid 4-year-old “hunter”, he “hunted gorillas in the bosque”, fished the Chama River where he caught bigger German Browns than “anyone”, and branded calves on the Ranch in Cebolla, NM.
He began his ranch life as early as 2 years old, riding horses andgathering cattle with his father. Three weeks prior to his passing he rode again gathering for spring branding. He loved his family’s ranch roots and expressed his longing desire to return to them. He left this life as an accomplished masonry and finish professional. His expertise is evidenced on many structures and developments in northern Arizona towns.
His kind loving heart, mischievous smile, helping hands and fierce loyalty will be missed by many.
