Daniel (Danny) C. Sanchez

Daniel (Danny) C. Sanchez, age 61, a resident of Alcalde, New Mexico, passed away on November 4, 2024.

 He was preceded in death by his grandson, Elijah, his mother, Carmen M. Sanchez, his father, Edward T. Sanchez, Sr., brother, Edward T. Sanchez, Jr., maternal grandfather, Bonifacio Maestas, paternal grandparents, Antonio and Louisa Sanchez, Godparents, Donna and Robert Shadoan. 

 Danny was born in Torrance, California and was raised in Alcalde, New Mexico. He was always willing to help others. He was a skilled auto mechanic and a talented artist. His Christmas scenes could be found around town on business windows. Danny was always asking about his nieces and nephews. 

 He is survived by Zelda and Louie Jaramillo (La Mesilla), Kathy and Steve Gomez (La Puebla), Diana and Ron Lovato (Ohkay Owingeh), Theresa and Lupe Romero, (Chimayo), Edgar and Reyann (Ohkay Owingeh), daughter, Ashley, and son, Ivan and Yezenia, nieces, great - nieces, nephews, and great nephews, Louis (Felicia), Manuel, Marcella (Alex), Christina, Andrea Karmella, Felipe, Joseph (Nam), Delfinio (Mariah), Joshua, Santiago, Aaron, Matthew, Amanda, Asia Carmen, Arianna, Adrian, Ashton, Alexis, Julian, Carter, Canaan, Jackie, Lillian, Jake, and many relatives, and friends.

 A rosary will be recited Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 6:00 pm, at St. Anne's Church, Alcalde, New Mexico. A mass of Christian burial, Thursday, November 14, 2024, 11:00 am, at St. Anne's Church, Alcalde, New Mexico. Interment will take place following the mass at El Cementerio de Santa Cruz de la Canada (Holy Cross Church, Santa Cruz, New Mexico). 

 Serving the family as pallbearers, will be; Andrea Gomez, Aaron Romero, Matthew Romero, Joshua Lovato, Santiago Lovato, and Manuel Jaramillo. 

 Honorary pallbearers will be: Joseph Lovato, Delfinio Lovato, Marcella Matthews, Christina Jaramillo, Louis Jaramillo, Jr., Felipe Gomez, and Amanda Romero.
