Daniel Archuleta

Daniel Terrible Dan Archuleta, 91, of El Prado passed away on August 24, 2009. He was a former Taos County Treasurer for two terms in the early 1960s and worked for NM State Engineers Office and helped build the Legends Hotel in Angel Fire. He also worked for the artist Ila McAfee Tuner and Gwendolyn Koock. He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco & Josefita Archuleta. He is survived by his wife, Felima Archuleta, children, Lilly Fernandez of Taos, Eva Jo Romero (Panky, Jr.) of Anaheim Hills, CA, Danny Archuleta (Esperanza) of Albuquerque, Mary Lou Torres of Denver, CO and Jose A. Archuleta (Pauline) of El Rito and sister, Dorothy Silva. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Rosary was recited on August 26, 2009 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with interment to follow at Dolores Cemetery.
