Dave Mccall

David McCall, 76, a resident of Espanola, NM since 1969, passed away on November 26, 2010 after a short illness. He was born on March 17, 1934 in Cynthiana, KY. He moved to Ruidoso, NM in 1959 where he met his wife Virginia Sanchez. He worked for the telephone company transferring to Espanola 1969 and later became a general/electrical contractor where he remained until his passing. Dave was an avid fisherman and also a very passionate left-handed golfer. Dave was preceded in death by his wife Virginia on June 26, 2008. He is survived by his sisters Gwen Rainey and Anna Frances Williams of Kentucky. Five children Jackie Thomas and Cindy Vice of Kentucky, Dino McCall of Espanola, Gina Contreras of California, and Ronnie McCall of Albuquerque. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating his life will be Saturday December 4, 2010 at 10 AM at El Buen Pastor in Ranchitos.
