David Martinez

David F. Martinez, 70, of Talpa passed away unexpectedly on April 14, 2021.  He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing and his “Bud Lite”.  He cherished his gems, his grandchildren, they were his pride and joy.  He is preceded in death by his daughter, Carla Martinez-Jeantette, parents, Pablo and Rosa Martinez, siblings, Michael Martinez, Bonnie Benavidez and Loretta Sanchez and mother in law, Lola Young.  He is survived by his sons, Everett Martinez (Teresa) and Isaac Martinez (Jovan), his precious grandchildren, Dominique, Angelo and Shania Jeantete, Mariah and Isaac Martinez, Alejandro, Augustin and Sofia Martinez, mother of his children, Rebecca Young, son-in-law, Anthony Jeantette, sisters, Jenny Vigil (Eraclio “Jets”) and Diana Duran (Cipriano “CP”), sister in law, Denise Martinez, brothers in law, Rudolfo Benavidez and Raymond Sanchez, best friend, Eddie Trujillo, special nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.

Rosary will be recited Friday, April 23, 2021 at 9 AM  at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church with funeral mass to follow at 10 AM. 

The family would like to thank the staff at Holy Cross Hospital and St. Vincent’s Hospital.
