David Montoya

With great sadness, we announce the passing of David O. Montoya of La Cienega. He was born May 1st 1967 in Santa Fe, NM. He loved his daughters and adored his grandchildren. He built successful rock, dirt and trucking businesses, mastering the operation of heavy equipment. David owned exotic farm animals and deeply loved his 2 dogs. He was always the life of the party and loved making people laugh. He was adventurous, loved traveling, riding his Harley, and was always living life to the fullest.

He is preceded in death by his parents Herman and Rosalie Montoya, Brother Herman Montoya Jr., and nephew Greg Sandoval

He is survived by his daughters Leticia (Robert) and Estrella, grandson R.J., granddaughters Adelina and Isadora, Brother Larry (Diane), and Sisters, Marcella (Rick), Viola (John) Martha, Godson Raymond (Tanesha) and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

A rosary will be held June 7th 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at Rivera Family Funeral Services on Rodeo Rd. Burial Mass will be on June 8th  and to be  held at San Jose Catholic Church at 3:00 p.m.in La Cienega with burial and reception to follow.
