David Paul Ferrero, 54, a resident of Santa Fe, joined his Heavenly Father on Tuesday February 22, 2011.
He was born September 5, 1956 in Long Beach, CA, graduated from Raton High School, and attended Eastern New Mexico College and UNM. He was a project supervisor for Wolf Corporation, taking great pride in his involvement with the construction of the Georgia OKeefe museum in Santa Fe. David enjoyed carving, painting and was a Santero. He was married for 22 years and was a proud father of five beautiful children. He was known and loved by many, and touched the lives of all that knew him. He is preceded in death by his father Anthony Ferrero, and nephews Michael and Scott Ferrero. David is survived by his mother Mary Frances Ferrero, children Angela, Christina, David, Sophia and Jacob Ferrero, grandchildren, Christopher, Mario and Shania Ferrero, brother Tony Ferrero (Belinda), brother Gary Ferrero (Cindy), two special nieces, Sara and Nicole Ferrero, mother of his children, Bess Ferrero, Davids special companion, Carmen Quintana all of Santa Fe, and many other relatives and numerous devoted friends.
Recitation of the Rosary was held February 27, 2011 at St. Annes Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated March 28, 2011 followed by interment at the Rosario Cemetery in Santa Fe. Rivera Family Funeral Home of Espanola 753-2288, 800-443-4854,
