Delfino "Grandpo" Romero May 1, 1937 ~ June 9, 2008 Delfino "Grandpo" Romero, 71, of Santa Fe, was called home to the Lord on June 9, 2008 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Louise Romero and son Del Romero. He is survived by his daughter Mary and husband Arnondo Loya, daughter BrendaRomero and husband Luciano Garcia, son Kevin Romero, brothers; Benancio and wife Marcella Romero, Leroy and wife Yolanda Romero, and Joe Romero, sisters; Alice and husband Pete Salazar, Mary Ortega, Josie Encinas, Jo Ann Romero and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. Delfino was a very private man, he loved to spend time with his family and his grandchildren. He had a love for card games with family and friends. His grandchildren knew him best as Grandpo. He lived his life on his own terms. He will be deeply missed by many. "Thank You Grandpo for the time we had with you."
