Delores Marjorie Hall (also known as Mama Dee or Grandma Dee), 79, of Taos, New Mexico, and formerly of Lamesa, Texas and Stella, Nebraska passed away on Friday, August 23, 2019 at her home. She was born in 1939 in Nehawka, Nebraska, to Roy and Marjorie Nichols.
Delores was always very generous with her love. She loved the Lord, her family and all children. She cared for her brothers and sisters, her own children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as those of friends and neighbors. She also loved by providing delicious meals for her family, canning food from her garden (thanks to her amazing green thumb) and making inventive crafts.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jack Eugene Hall, three daughters, Becky Mossman and husband Jake of Taos, NM; Bonnie Hart and husband Kevin of Fort Worth, TX; Barbie Gore and husband Todd of Lubbock, TX; seven brothers and four sisters, Harold Nichols of Auburn, NE; Gordon Nichols (Linda) of Sun City West, AZ; Claude Nichols (Shirley) of Auburn, NE; Joe Nichols of Clarinda, IA; Doris Trierweiler (Mark) of Coeburn, VA; David Nichols of Lincoln, NE; Dorothy Olson (Doug) of Columbus, NE; Debbie Counts of Haysi, VA; Tom Nichols of Clarinda, IA; Deanna Douglas of Columbus, NE; Tim Nichols (Shelly) of Auburn, NE; 13 grandchildren, Michael Terry, Michelle Terry, Taylor Chewning (Mandie), Kasey Belote (Cheryl), Kyle Belote (Mika), Brandon Belote (Netasha), Nicholas Mossman, Kyle Mossman, Christopher Hart (Lauren), Jonathan Hart, Shari Gaynor (Blake), James Gore (Ashley), Catherine Gore (Jordan Key); 16 great-grandchildren, Alexandra Knapp (Terry), Kendra Terry, Katie Terry, Andy Chewning, Jill Chewning, Cole Belote, Kinsey Belote, Kyoka Belote, Kayden Belote, Kellen Belote, Natalie Mayhugh, Rylan Mayhugh, Camille Mossman, Kaylee Gaynor, Joey Gaynor, and Liliana Gore; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Beverly Belote (Ken), brothers Bob and Jesse, sisters-in-law Alice (Bob) and Dorothy (Harold), and niece, Jennifer Olson.

Two memorial services will be held, one on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 7 PM at Rivera Chapel in Taos, NM. The second service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 2 PM at Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn, NE. In support of Alzheimer’s Research, donations may be made in her honor at www.alz.org.
