Denison Walton Tafoya

Denison Walton Tafoya, 36, of Ranchos de Taos passed away unexpectedly on March 09, 2006. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree at Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin and also received further education at American University and a Masters of Arts Degree in Media Studies in New York. She was a disc jockey for radio stations in New Orleans, Washington State, Colorado and Taos. She is preceded in death by her father, Anthony Smrstick and stepfather, Bernie Flath. She is survived by her husband Gil John Tafoya, mother, Paulene Walton-Flath, parents in law, Gil & Brenda Tafoya, sisters and brother in laws, Dina Sowers (Darwin), Marcos Tafoya (Vanessa), Monika Garcia (Diego), nieces and nephew, Shawnee and Randi Sowers, Sarae Garcia and Santiago Tafoya, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Rosary was recited on March 12, 2006. Funeral mass was held on March 13, 2006. Both services were held at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church.
