Dennis Chad Denney

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis Chad Denney, a beloved outdoorsman, adventurer, and friend to many. Chad, whose laughter, and spirit brightened every room, gained his skis in the sky on January 2, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, joy, and memories. 

Chad’s passion for the outdoors knew no bounds. Whether hitting the slopes, hiking, or camping under the stars, he felt most at home in the natural world. An avid skier and snowboarder, Chad was known for his fearless approach to the mountains. His love for golf was equally strong, with a natural ability to enjoy each swing of the club as much as the company around him. 

A long-time presence in and around the Enchanted Circle, Chad was loved by many. His friendships, built on kindness, humor, and a generous spirit, were deeply cherished. He shared his life with his beloved fur girl, Della, who was always by his side.

Known for his contagious laugh, Chad’s smile was a beacon of positivity to everyone he met. He had an unmatched ability to bring fun to the most mundane tasks and his laughter will echo in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. 

Chad loved big. Always! He cared deeply for his family and had a special love for his nephew, Espn, and niece, Berkley. His heart was as boundless as the mountain ranges, he explored, and his presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2025, in Angel Fire, New Mexico (location and time TBD) where we will gather to share his memory.

Rest easy, Chad. You will forever be loved, and your spirit will live on in the laughter of those who knew you and the mountains you cherished.
