DESIDERIO A. GARCIA III

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Desiderio A. Garcia III (Booboo), at age 27 he passed away unexpectedly on March 17, 2024.

Desiderio was born to Desiderio A. Garcia Jr. and Cathy Pacheco in 1996.  He was born and raised in Taos, NM, he attended Taos High School where he participated in football, and weightlifting.  He loved spending time with family and friends.  He was a charming, caring, and loving person.  Desiderio was passionate about family, cars, animals, and the outdoors. 

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Angie Santistevan, and maternal grandfather, Joe Pacheco.  He is survived by his son, DShawn Medina, father, Desiderio A. Garcia Jr, and mother, Cathy Pacheo, grandmother, Marie Pacheco and also by Sylvia Bowling (stepmother), his siblings, Desiree (Sarah), Desmond (Alice), Sandra (Isaiah), Manuel, Katherine, and Angel, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Booboo, we all want you to know that we love you and will miss you always.  We understand that our dear Lord needed an Angel, and we are at peace knowing you are safe in his arms.  Until we meet again, remember what you meant to each one of us, and know that even through death, love does not fade away.  Rest in Peace!   

Memorial Service will be held on Thursday March 28, from 1pm-2pm at Rivera Funeral Home in Taos NM.
