Diana R. Ortiz

Diana R. Ortiz, born in Espanola, New Mexico, on February 28, 1957. She passed away surrounded by her family, closed her beautiful eyes for the last time here on Earth and opened them in Heaven on November 20, 2024, at the age of 67. Diana worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory for over 35 years where she enjoyed helping and meeting people. She will be remembered for her compassion, warm smile and laughter.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond T and Gloria Martinez, sisters, Melinda and Phyelma Martinez, brother, Ronnie Martinez, In-Laws, Joseph and Ernestine Ortiz, niece, Kathleen Ortiz, Padrinos, Tony and Margaret Sanchez.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Ortiz, daughter, Monica Ortiz (Chris), son, Larry Ortiz (Andrea), grandchildren, Lucas and Natalia Ortiz, sisters, Janet Martinez-Archuleta (Tony), Michole Pana (Joseph), brothers, Aaron Martinez (Mary), Jerry Martinez (Sheri), close nieces, Kayla, Reanna (their daughter Luciana),Cheryl (Emily and Estella), one great friend, Virgina Palham, and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Justin Chavez, Steven Ortiz Jr., Daniel Ortiz, James Lujan, Chris Martinez, JoeRay Pana, Joseph Pana, and Paul Ortiz.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Lucas and Natalia Ortiz.

Rosary will be on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo, NM. Mass will follow. Interment will follow at the Nuestra Senora de Delores Cemetery in Chimayo, NM.
