Diane Seitz

Diane Seitz, 68, of Ranchos de Taos passed away on June 26, 2017. A vibrant spirit taken too soon from this life. She is preceded in death by her son, Joshua and father, Herman. She is survived by her children, Yadin, Shala, and Lonny, mother, Charlene, and sisters, Alison and Jennifer, along with extended family and friends. Diane was a strong and determined woman who fought cancer for several years, living a rich life to the end. Her life pursuits included being a biochemist and raising prize winning Morgan horses in her love of science and animals. She was a person of many talents and interests, and prized critical thinking and knowledge. From her protest days in the 60's, to starting her family in Maine in the 70's, her careers in Pennsylvania in the 80's onward, and her final years in NM, she traveled the country and world. In her short years in Taos she had a deep impact on the land and people, creating an oasis of life and merriment, and always with style. No public services to be held, toasting her in private is encouraged, preferably in fancy dress. Celebrate her life as she did. She goes now to rejoin her son and begin new adventures. Her ashes shall be returned to the elements from whence they came per her wishes. Donations in her name to a cancer organization of your choice are welcome and appreciated.
