Dianna Quintana

Dianna Quintana (Diana) was 75 years young, a resident of Espanola, NM, passed to heaven on Feb 15, 2023, due to medical complications. She was born in Taos, NM on September 20,1947, daughter to the late Matilda Lucero Lovato and Diego Lovato. She was married to the late Freddie (Fred) Quintana from Espanola, NM on July 17, 1999. She graduated from Penasco High School and attended Northern New Mexico Community College, retired from Santa Maria El Mirador as a Skilled Trainer/Med Tech. She was a certified Medical Assistant. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Aux #3695, Espanola, NM and served on the Eagles board as president. She enjoyed volunteering, fundraising, organizing holiday events for the local children of the Espanola Valley and was dedicated to helping. She enjoyed crafts and ventured in many areas of the arts. She was a potter, quilter, crocheter (dolls dresses, scarfs, hats and clothes), worked with plastic canvas (dolls dresses, tissue boxes, napkin holders). She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her sisters/brothers. She was a loving and caring, devoted wife, mother and grandmother and friend. She was a strong-willed lady and cared for others.

Dianna leaves to cherish in her loving memory her children Donna Lopez-Rios, David Lopez Jr (Sandra), Diego Lopez, Debbie Jennings (Roy),Step-Children: Kenny Quintana (Beatrice), Mike Quintana (Valerie), Elizabeth Zunshine (Phil), Grandchildren: Jose Rios, Consuelo Rios, Andrew Lopez, Matthew Quintana, Simon Vaughn, Dominic Lopez, Roy Jennings, Bella Quintana, Lexie Jennings, Jenna Lopez, Siblings: Elise Rodarte (Oliver), Virginia Herrera, Mabel Rios, Donald Lovato (Diana), Ubaldo Lovato (late Jane), Franklin Lovato (Bertha), Gloria Visarraga (William), Neomi Gurule (Timmy), Brother- in- law Johnny Quintana (Ester) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in Death: Loving Husband Fred Quintana, Mother Matilde Lovato, Father Diego Lovato, Siblings: Jessie Lovato, Felicita Romero, Allen R Lovato, Diego Lovato Jr, Mary Mondragon, Elizada Arguello, Ernesto Lovato, Brother-in- Law Perry Quintana, Son-in- law Rudolfo Rios, Brother-in-Law Pedro Herrera Brother-in-Law Juan Rios.

Service as follows: Viewing will be held on March 1, 2023 at 5pm at Rivera Funeral Home 305 Calle Salazar, Espanola NM and March 2, 2023, Rosary at 11:30am, Funeral Mass at 12pm and burial to follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 908 Calle Rosario, Espanola, NM 87532. 

Pallbearers will include David Lopez Jr, Diego Lopez, Andrew Lopez, Dominic Lopez, Roy Jennings IV, Danny Quintana, Consuelo Rios, and Roy Jennings III. 

Honorary ballbearers will include Jose Rios and Simon Vaughn.
