DIEGO TONY PACHECO, JR. Age 46 a resident of San Pedro passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 19th, 2006. He worked for many years at Espanola Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center; he enjoyed music, dancing, gambling and basketball. Most important to him were his family, whom he loved very much, and his pet cat Jasamine. He was preceded in death by his grandparents who also raised him: Jose Abel and Isabelita Herrera; other grandparents: Alex and Manuelita Pacheco; uncle, Jose Herrera; aunts, Angie Montaño and Jean Chavez; and a cousin, Ruth Garcia. May their souls rest in peace. He is survived by his parents: Diego Sr. and Erlinda Pacheco of Ogden, Utah; brothers and sisters: Ken Pacheco of Colorado Springs, CO, Alex Pacheco and wife Liz of Ogden, Utah, Charlene Lopez and husband Charles of La Jara, CO, Brian Parks of Spanish Fork, Utah, Phillip Pacheco of Ogden, Utah, Chris Pacheco of Ogden, Utah, Tammy Pacheco of La Jara, CO, Anthony Pacheco and wife Leticia of Fall Brook, CA,; two very special aunts: Tessie Atencio and husband Gabriel of Española and Julie DeMoss of Mayer, AZ; As well as numerous uncles and aunts, nephews and nieces and other loving family members and friends. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, May 24th, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 25th, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Wednesday May 24th at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary in Espanola, the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am at Santo Nino de Atocha Catholic Church in Cebolla. Burial will follow at the Cebolla Community Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Ken, Alex, Phillip, Chris and Anthony Pacheco and Floyd Atencio.
