Dimas C. Vigil

Dimas Castulo Vigil age 85, a resident of Rio Chiquito was born on February 26, 1925. He passed away on Good Friday April 2, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents Esquipula and Francisquita Vigil, father and mother in law Marcos and Higinia Trujillo, brothers in law Esquipula and Reyes Trujillo and Ernestine Trujillo. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dulcinea., daughters; Virginia & Viola, Lourdes and husband Eloy Cordova, Susan and husband Larry Pacheco, and Melissa and husband Richard Maestas, sons Severo and wife Donna and Alvaro and wife Cindy, eight grandchildren; Kristal and Michael Vigil, Zachary and Destiny Vigil, Francesca, Jessica and Michael Pacheco and baby Maestas. He is also survived by his brothers Sabino and wife Andreita, Abel and wife Mary, sisters Floraida Vigil, Toni Trujillo and husband Juan, sister in law Toni Lopez and husband Joe A. Lopez, fourteen Godchildren and many other relatives. Public visitation and a rosary will be held on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel at Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola, followed by a second recitation of the rosary also on Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo beginning at 7:45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. also at Holy Family Church with Fr. Julio officiating. Interment will follow at The Rio Chiquito Cemetery. Honoring their father, grandfather & father in law are; Severo, Alvaro, Larry, Eloy, Richard, Michael, Zachary and Miquelito.
